As a professional writer, editor and content strategist, Lee Williams has strengthened the brand storytelling for global and nationally recognized brands in the higher education, advertising and marketing fields.

Before joining, Lee spent several years as a senior copywriter and content strategist for Pearson, the world’s largest education company, leading integrated marketing campaigns for renowned businesses and higher education institutions.

His writing and editorial career also spans communications and creative writing roles with marketing and advertising firms, colleges and universities.

Lee is a positive-thinker and a passionate advocate for financial literacy and general education. His leadership in higher education marketing has made him acutely aware of the needs of marginalized communities — which drives his pursuit of content excellence for through accessible, inclusive and comprehensive strategies.

Lee began his professional writing career as a teen, where he self-published novels for young adults. Throughout his collegiate experiences, he completed several internships with public relations firms and writing associations to help writers better their craft.

One of Lee’s personal goals is to blend creative writing, editorial and content marketing expertise to positively impact his team and readers.

A graduate of the Florida State University, Lee is a proud Seminole with a bachelor’s degree in English and a graduate certificate in editing and publishing. He also holds a master’s degree in mass communication from the University of Central Florida, which he credits for developing his elevation of thought and audience analysis skills.
